Right-of-way clearing keeps the corridors that matter most — access roads, utility lines, pipeline easements, and property boundaries — open, safe, and accessible. Whether it's a single driveway easement or miles of utility corridor, we clear vegetation efficiently while respecting the surrounding land.
Written by Grounded Land Services — Central Texas land clearing professionals, based on firsthand experience working properties throughout the region.
What Is Right-of-Way Clearing?
Right-of-way clearing, also known as ROW clearing, is the removal of trees, brush, and other vegetation from a defined corridor to maintain access for utilities, roads, infrastructure, property access, or other projects. A right-of-way may be newly established or an existing corridor that has become overgrown and difficult to access.
Grounded Land Services clears vegetation and other obstructions to open these corridors, improve access, and create a manageable path for construction, maintenance, or ongoing property use.
Where We Provide Right-of-Way Clearing
Right-of-way clearing can be needed anywhere a defined corridor needs to remain open, accessible, and manageable. Grounded Land Services provides clearing for:
Utility Easements
Clear corridors for power lines, pipelines, and other utility infrastructure.
Access Roads & Corridors
Open and maintain access roads across rural and ranch properties.
Property Right-of-Ways
Clear defined property right-of-ways for access or boundary purposes.
Fence Lines
Open corridors along fence lines that have become overgrown or difficult to access.
Construction Access
Clear temporary or permanent access corridors for construction projects.
Rural & Ranch Corridors
Maintain long-distance corridors across larger rural and ranch properties.
Existing ROW Maintenance
Reclaim right-of-ways that have become overgrown since they were last cleared.
Utility & Infrastructure Projects
Clear corridors needed for new utility or infrastructure installations.
What We Clear
Right-of-way corridors can become difficult to access when trees, brush, and other vegetation take over. Our equipment allows us to clear a wide range of vegetation and obstructions, including:
- Cedar
- Mesquite
- Yaupon
- Huisache
- Small trees and saplings
- Brush and undergrowth
- Downed trees and limbs
- Overgrown vegetation
We can also work selectively around mature trees, fences, structures, and other features that need to remain in place.
New ROW Clearing & Maintenance
Whether you're establishing a new corridor or reclaiming an existing one, the goal is the same: maintain a clear, accessible path through the property.
New Right-of-Way Clearing
Clear trees, brush, and other vegetation from a planned corridor for utilities, access roads, construction, infrastructure, or property access.
Existing ROW Maintenance
Overgrown vegetation can quickly restrict access to an established right-of-way. We can maintain existing corridors by removing vegetation that has grown back and restore usable access.
Equipment Built for Right-of-Way Clearing
Right-of-way projects can involve everything from dense brush and small trees to larger vegetation and difficult terrain. Our equipment gives us the flexibility to match the approach to the conditions of each corridor.
