Rock Removal in Bertram, Texas

Just over half an acre of backyard behind a pool in Bertram, Texas cleared of loose limestone, cedar, and cactus in two days. The owner wanted a backyard he could maintain, so we removed all the loose rock and kept the large limestone outcroppings he wanted, then hauled off 8 loads of rock and debris.

Steve's property in Bertram had just over half an acre behind the pool covered in loose limestone, with cedar and cactus mixed in and several large limestone outcroppings. He wanted a backyard he could maintain: all the loose rock gone, and the larger outcroppings left in place. We used our CAT 275 and root grapple to remove the loose rock, cedar, and cactus while working around the outcroppings, and kept those large limestone outcroppings in place on purpose because Steve wanted them. Then we ran our Harley rake over the ground to pick up the leftover rock and debris. There was more rock than anticipated, so we handled it with more haul-offs: 8 loads of rock and debris in all. We found a place to take the debris that saved Steve hundreds of dollars in dump truck removal costs. The job took two days and was finished in August 2026. The result is a clean, maintainable backyard with the outcroppings still standing, ready for Steve to seed with grass and Texas native flower seeds.
