Texas land often comes with two stubborn obstacles standing between you and usable acreage: embedded rock and aggressive Prickly Pear cactus. Both make pastures dangerous for livestock and people alike, and both are labor-intensive to remove without the right equipment. We clear both efficiently, leaving safe, workable ground behind.

The Problem With Rock & Cactus

Surface rock and limestone outcroppings limit usable acreage, damage mowing equipment, and create serious footing hazards for livestock and horses. Prickly Pear cactus spreads through both seed and fallen pads, meaning an untreated patch can quietly take over acres of pasture over a few seasons.

Both problems compound each other over time — clearing early is almost always less costly than clearing later, once growth or rock exposure has spread further.

What We Clear

  • Surface and embedded rock
  • Limestone outcroppings
  • Prickly Pear cactus (root and pad)
  • Rock piles from past clearing
  • Rocky building-pad areas
  • Pasture and grazing land obstructions

Our Removal Process

1

Site Assessment

We evaluate rock density and cactus coverage to determine the right equipment approach.

2

Cactus Removal

Prickly Pear is removed at the root to prevent regrowth from remaining pads.

3

Rock Extraction

Surface and embedded rock is excavated and can be crushed on-site into usable aggregate if desired.

4

Site Cleanup

The cleared area is left level and safe for grazing, mowing, or development.

We really appreciate the work Logan and his team did for us at the Uhland Fall Fest. They truly helped us curate a raw, unusable piece of land that was full of cedar trees and barbed mesquite into a beautiful, picturesque parkland for families to enjoy. I highly recommend these guys. Happy to discuss my experience by phone. First-class operation!
